Newport House Bed and Breakfast is Williamsburg, Virginia's, most historically authentic Bed and Breakfast. This Colonial Williamsburg Bed and Breakfast was built to museum standards in 1988, from the 1756 design by famous architect Peter Harrison for the Banister Plantation near Newport, RI, that was destroyed on its 200th birthday to make way for a carpark.

Harrison was also the architect of the Williamsburg Capitol of 1749, and the Williamsburg Market of 1757 (not yet rebuilt). The Yorkshire-trained Harrison (1716-1775), a resident of Newport, designed over 200 buildings in every British colony from Newfoundland to Barbados (also England, Ireland, India and China), many commissioned out of gratitude for his part in foiling the 1745 French invasion that otherwise would have made permanent French colonies out of all British America and India. Harrison was also Colonial America's top furniture designer.

Most Williamsburg Bed and Breakfasts are limited to two rooms a piece, which means that we can concentrate on providing luxury and personal service to our guests.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is a theme park located about 3 miles southeast of Williamsburg. The park is themed around the history and culture of old-world Europe. It is owned by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, a division of The Blackstone Group. The park was originally called Busch Gardens: The Old Country, reflecting the European theme. In the early 1990s the park was renamed Busch Gardens Williamsburg. In 2006, the name was changed to Busch Gardens Europe, to once again reflect the European theme. Similarly, Busch Gardens Tampa was renamed to Busch Gardens Africa at the start of the 2006 season. Starting in late 2008, the park has been gradually returning to the Busch Gardens Williamsburg branding.

Second to its award-winning landscaping and theme, Busch Gardens Williamsburg is perhaps best known for its small but impressively-rated collection of coasters (highlighted by Griffon and Apollo's Chariot), as well as its high-tech dark ride, The Curse of DarKastle.

In honor of its 35th anniversary, Busch Gardens has announced that it will introduce several new attractions for the 2010 season. In Ireland, the Abbey Stone Theater will be getting an upgrade as well as receiving a brand, new show. Corkscrew Hill, the simulator ride, will be rethemed to "Europe in the Air", a journey around some of Europe's most famous landmarks. Busch Gardens will also be introducing "Ramp Jam", a new skateboard show in Festhaus Park, and "IllumiNights", a park-wide firework/pyrotechnic show.
